Are there any real legitimate work from home jobs out there?

Posted at January 5th, 2009 by admin

I am a stay at home mother and right now, it is not practical to try and pay for childcare so that I may go out and get a job. Does anyone know of or have participated in any good work at home jobs online?

What kind of a job are you looking for? There are a lot of home party plan companies out there that work really well for stay at home moms. I’m with Scentsy and having a great time!

Just find something that works well for you and follow that direction. Do a lot of research and be sure you’re not getting scammed.

Good luck!

Boomtown Rats - Rat Trap 1978

Posted at January 3rd, 2009 by admin

Boomtown Rats - Rat Trap 1978

There was a… lot of rocking going on that night,
Cruising time for the young bright lights,
Just down past the gasworks, by the meat factory door,
The five lamp boys were coming on strong.
The Saturday night city beat had already started
The pulse of the corner boys sprang into action
And young Billy watched it all under the yellow street light
And said “tonight of all nights there’s gonna be a fight”

Billy dont like it living here in this town
He says the traps have been sprung long before he was born
He says “hope bites the dust behind all the closed doors”
And pus and grime ooze from its scab crusted sores.
There’s screaming and crying in the high rise blocks”
It’s a rat trap Billy but you’re already caught
But you can make it if you want to or you need it bad enough

You’re young and good looking and you’re acting kind of tough
Anyway it’s Saturday night time to see what’s going down.
Put on the bright suit Billy, head for the right side of town
It’s only 8 o’clock but you’re already bored
You don’t know what it is but there’s got to be more
You’d better find a way out, hey kick down the door
It’s a rat trap and you’ve been caught

In this town Billy says “everybody tries to tell you what to do”
In this town Billy says “everybody says you gotta follow rules.”
You walk up to those traffic lights,
Switch from your left to right
You push in that button, and when that button comes alight
It tells you
“Walk don’t walk, Talk don’t talk”……
Billy take a walk …
Hey Billy take a walk with me.

Little Judy’s trying to watch “top of the pops”
But mum and dad are fighting don’t they ever stop,
She take down her coat and walks out on the street,
It’s cold on that road, but it’s got that home beat,
Deep down in her pockets she finds 50p.,
Now is that any way for a young girl to be,
“I’m gonna get out of school work in some factory,
Work all the hours God gave me get myself a little easy money”
Now, now, now na na.

Her mind’s made up, she walks down the road,
Her hands in her pockets, coat buttoned ‘gainst the cold,
She finds Billy down at the Italion cafe
And when he’s drunk it’s hard to understand what Billy says
But then he mumbles in his coffee and suddenly roars,
“It’s a rat trap Judy; and we’ve been caught….”

Ronaldinho Top 10 Goals

Posted at January 1st, 2009 by admin

Introduction
This movie is showing u how Ronaldinho plays soccer and his ability to play soccer

About Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho was born in Porto Alegre, a city in the Rio Grande do Sul region of Brazil. Ronaldinho’s mother Miguelina is a former salesperson who later studied to become a nurse. His father João was a shipyard worker and footballer for Cruzeiro. João died when Ronaldinho was eight, after suffering a heart attack while swimming in the family’s pool. The family moved to a more affluent home in Porto Alegre when Ronaldinho’s older brother Roberto signed to play professional football for Grêmio. This house was given to Roberto Assis as a present from Gremio to convince him to stay at the club. At the time, Torino were interested in him. Injuries ended Roberto’s career prematurely, and he now manages Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho’s sister Deisi works as his press coordinator. Ronaldinho’s son, named João after his father, was born on February 25, 2005. João’s mother is Janaína Nattielle Viana Mendes, a former dancer on the Brazilian television show Domingão do Faustão.

In his childhood, Ronaldinho’s skill in football began to blossom due to his particular interest in futsal and beach football, which later developed into a fondness for more standardised football. His first brush with the media came after he scored all 23 goals in a 23-0 victory against a local team, at just 13 years of age. His reputation as a footballer was built up through his childhood, particularly since he was identified as a rising star at the Egypt 1997 under-17 world championship. He scored two goals in the tournament, both penalty kicks

“Andrea McEwan started writing songs when she was just 3 years old - “I have always made up songs. I was happy to play on my own and I taught myself a way to write down the songs. Later I became obsessed with a tape recorder.” Living on a diet of books - “I would sit on the roof of the garage and read two books a day” and black and white musical films in her hometown Melbourne, Andrea went on to study at N.I.D.A., Australia’s premier drama institute, and on graduating was lured onto the stage working extensively in theatre and television in Australia.

Moving to Europe her successful acting career blossomed whilst behind the scenes Andrea continued to write songs. On a visit home she wrote and recorded a demo with a friend which she sent to some record labels “but I didn’t pursue itI didn’t know how”. A chance encounter whilst performing at the Derby Playhouse led to her demo reaching the desk of Dramatico chairman Mike Batt.

Signed as a songwriter to Dramatico Songs, the publishing arm of the company, Andrea’s first assignment was writing with Katie Melua “I was quite nervous. I’d not really written with anyone else before but actually we are a great pairing. Normally Katie starts with the music and I start with the lyrics but I am quite erratic in how I write songs so I had no idea how it would work out. On the first day I showed Katie some lyrics that I had written, she read them, sat down at the piano and, from beginning to end, played the song. Her music was perfect.” The song was called What I Miss About You’ and along with a second collaboration, ‘Dirty Dice’, appeared on Katie’s third album, the multi-platinum selling ‘Pictures’.

Dramatico offered her a record deal - “I would have been so happy just to sit in a room and write songs for the rest of my life so being given the opportunity to be a recording artist felt like a great gift” - and Andrea set about writing and recording her debut album. Recorded at Air Studios in London Andrea was initially daunted by the prospect “I mean… Joni Mitchell recorded a lot of her songs there!” but, overcoming her trepidation, she cherished seeing her songs leaping off the page “all the amazing musicians brought my songs, my babies, to life”.

The debut EP features three songs from her as yet untitled album. On ‘Candle In A Chatroom’ Andrea writes from the perspective of ‘Romance’ looking at the state of modern love. “I read an article about cyber relationships and internet dating and, as someone who grew up on a diet of Bronte, Austen and Shakespeare, it made me sad to think that perhaps the reign of ‘romance’ was over.” Whilst ‘Black Socks In The Wash’ is surely the first song to take inspiration from the universal laundry dilemma, ‘Fast Train’ is a more personal song. “The chorus came as I was walking in Hampstead Heath one day missing home and missing my Mum. On one level it is about someone who wants to be reunited with someone they loved that has passed away - about speeding through this life to be with them on the other side. On another level, it is about wanting to speed across the globe to be with my Mum.”

Andrea will be on tour from October 2nd supporting Katie Melua. The eleven UK arena shows begin on October 29th at Nottingham Arena and conclude on November 11th at Brighton Centre.”

How to work from home?

Posted at December 31st, 2008 by admin

Does anyone know any legit sites that you can work from home? I am a mother of two and need to do something to help and can’t afford daycare.

I can refer you to a place online of a legit company. Basically with the potential to make residual income. The amount is kind of up to you. But its definitely legit, and works. Its not a get rich quick, cause you wont. But if you work at it a few hours a day you will definitely generate some money. The initial fee is $10 which gets you a domain. And then you refer people back and you get 10% of their monthly fee. It uses the power of multiplication as well as technology as i could show you if your interested.

Check out

Also Check out my BLOG where i am experimenting with the company. Since i trust it is legit, i am going to put it to work and see how it does. Im documenting daily.

Has anyone heard of "AWS - Legitimate Work From Home Program"? Is it real or Scam?

Posted at December 29th, 2008 by admin

Just wondering if this is a real deal or if this just another scam? I'm trying to find a job where I can work on a little at a time a day and still be able to be a home mother. So if this is a real thing and not a scam id like to know please. Thank you!

"If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.
